Patriotic Cupcakes

Red White and Blue just for you. Easy to whip up cupcakes for the 4th of July.

Desserts don’t always mean spending hours in the kitchen. Every now and then, simplicity means more time spent with friends and family. Grab a box cake, pour into cute liners, top with good ole homemade frosting and you’re good to go!

Ingredients

1 Box Red Velvet Cake Mix

1 Stick Butter (softened)

1 Stick Cream Cheese (softened)

1 tsp Almond Extract

3 Cups Confectioners Sugar

Pinch of Salt

Directions

Mix and bake cupcakes as directed

Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth, add pinch of salt and almond extract, fold in sugar a little at a time. Frost cupcakes and top with a blueberry. Keep refrigerated if not using immediately.
